Buying auto parts, especially those related to steering, braking, tires, etc., must be purchased at a regular auto parts store. The identification methods for counterfeit and shoddy auto parts in the market are as follows:
(1) See if the accessory trademark logo is complete
The quality of the outer packaging of genuine auto parts is good, the writing on the box is clear, the color of the overprint is clear, and the product name, specification model, quantity, registered trademark, factory name and telephone number are marked on the box or bag. Some important parts are also equipped with instructions for use, certificate of conformity and inspector's seal to guide the owner to use the maintenance correctly. Care should be taken when purchasing, in case you buy fake and shoddy accessories.
(2) look at the appearance of the accessories
Genuine accessories (original accessories) are printed or marked with clear and regular appearance, while counterfeit products have a rough appearance and even painted. Because unscrupulous traders will process the waste parts through simple processing, such as dismantling, loading, splicing, scraping, painting, etc., and then selling the qualified products to obtain high profits.
(3) See the specifications of the accessories
The original assembly parts are complete, and some fake and shoddy parts look the same as the original ones, but it is not suitable to install them, either big or small.
(4) Look at the protective layer
Regular accessories have a protective layer before leaving the factory, mainly to prevent parts from bumping. For example, cylinder liners, bushes, pistons, valves, etc. are generally protected with paraffin to prevent surface damage. Important accessory surfaces are mostly counterfeit if they are unprotected.
